I love pandas, and I decided to decorate my kitchen with the black and white bears. When most people think of pandas, they think of bamboo. That's why I incorporated a lot of bamboo into my kitchen decor. I have bamboo placemats, as well as bamboo window shades. I tried to find a set of dishes that featured panda bears, but I was unable to locate a set. Instead, I bought dinnerware featuring bamboo chutes. The dishes are spa blue in color. The set included four dinner plates, four salad/dessert plates, four soup/cereal bowls and four mugs. Since I do a lot of entertaining and throw a large number of dinner parties, I bought three sets, which enable me to have a service for twelve. The pieces are all dishwasher and microwave safe.
