Hoodia Gordonii From South Africa

Hoodia is a supplement from South Africa that is used as an appetite suppressant. The supplement is commonly used by San bushmen in South Africa, who learned about the plant from their ancestors who used it to reduce hunger. This was a great tactic during long hunts or during periods of general food scarcity. The best part of the plant is the Hoodia Gordonii aerial parts. They are the natural ingredient that is extracted from a particular cactus-like, succulent plant. The bushmen of the area would chew on the leaves of the plant, so to alleviate hunger pains; although the men, women, and children, did, and still do not fully understand how Hoodia works, but they know that it does work.
