If I become an actuary, would I have to work for an insurance company? That is the type of actuarial jobs that come to mind first, and I am wondering what other opportunities there are for actuaries, since I would rather work for another type of company if it is at all possible. Of course since I like actuarial work I look for an actuarial summer internship if I didn’t have any other options, but I definitely want to explore where else I might be able to get a job first. Is there a good resource on the internet for other types of actuarial jobs?
