I am a crime scene investigator. I use borescopes all the time to search for and collect evidence. I recently had to have my gall bladder out. WHen I visited the surgeon prior to my surgery, he knew I was apprehensive about the procedure. I had never had anesthesia or surgery before. As he was explaining the process that he would use, he spoke quite often about the endoscope that would be used during the surgery. I mentioned that I was a crime scene investigator and I use borescopes all the time in my investigations. The surgeon started comparing his work to mine, and he even informed me of the fact that an endoscope is a special borescope. After that, I felt more comfortable about the surgeon and the procedure that I was about to have.
