I have never really understood much about computers. I know how to turn my on, and I know how to use a lot of programs, but I’ve never really learned how it all works. That was until a friend of mine convinced me to get a certification in Computer Programming For Dummies. During the courses we took, we learned that programming is basically telling a computer what to do and when to do it. Everything on the computer is run by different programs. Some of those programs were written with different programming languages, but all of them serve the same purpose. Now that I have learned some basics, I hope to learn more and write some of my own simple programs.
