Value Stream Mapping

Our office has made big improvements with value stream mapping of the way we book an order and the way we deal with customer complaints.  I looked into software that would speed it up so we can make progress faster.  It turned out that LEI had the one that worked best for us, but we learned something very important!  The energy was completely different when one guy input the data, you know, a genius with a bunch of helpers.  So now we use the software to capture and communicate all the data after the vsm session.  We find that everyone participates and we have a whole room full of geniuses when we use pencils, butcher paper, or sticky notes to build our messy and more participative maps.
