Going Through a One Horse Town One Day
My wife and I are from the “older” generation. We appreciate find things from the past. We were in one of those little “one horse” towns in the Texas Hillcountry and had stopped at the local handy store. It wasn’t a 7-11 and we were surprised. It was probably one of the last Mom and Pop outfits still existing. We went in a were amazed at the amount of old merchandise that these folks still had. We could have probably bought the store out and sold most of the stuff on Ebay easily. It’s amazing the old company logos that still exist today. When we got home we looked up some information about logos on corporate identity logo and found out how and why these old codger companies originally got their company emblems and corporate identity logo so that they could be associated with their products all over the world. Well, the thing is, they’re still recognized today and some of these sold companies have gone out of business or were absorbed by others years ago. It’s truly amazing what those old corporate identity logos did and how they still are respected.
