Electric pallet truck is introduced for easy transportation of pallets in big plants and warehouses. To ensure maximum safety certain features like automatic brakes in handle with up, down and drive buttons, push stop and horn. Lifting and transportation of loaded pallets can be easily controlled by the operator, standing on the platform attached with the pallet truck. Electric pallet jack has certain merits and demerits. Merits include that it handles a high volume wit only moderate capital investment. It travels up grade, reduces operator injuries and requires fewest dock positions. The demerits are that it requires higher employee training, a separate battery charging area and it is difficult to handle stacked pallets.
