Besides art museums, which is one of our interests, we discovered the wonderful architecture of the city, including Gaudi,and walked a great deal enjoying his talent.  And of course, we had to go to to Tibidabo via the funicular and go on all the thrill rides, and go up to the observation tower.  After that, as well as touring the Barri Gothic Quarter, and satisfying my joy of shopping, we figured we would need a few days enjoying their beaches – and more shopping.  Looking for a quality and luxurious Barcelona accommodation would complete the sense of ending our Barcelona stay with a little pampering.  Freedom to choose is one of the best things about retirement
