Flying Lanterns are put to a quirky function of late in the officeIn the lunchroom recently the subject turned to the state of global rugby football Kiwi Dave stated that the time had come for New Zealand to go the whole hog and would in the end wipe the ground with the mighty Saffa’s. Johan from S.A playfully responded “yeah for sure mate, when pig’s fly!” 

Not one to ride on his rump Dave took the challenge literally and during some downtime during the week he began making his response to Johan’s comments. Unveiled on a Friday afternoon before the weekends big game Dave had adapted one of the colour lanterns with a felt tip pen and had transformed a pink lantern into a ‘Flying Pig’ opposition.

Unfortunately the aviating Pig lantern did not prove a lucky charm for the All Blacks as they were trampled on home turf by a narrow 32-29 in another painful loss.
