Belly Fat & Obesity Problems Need Tackling
Belly fat can often be a sign that a person is suffering from obesity. In the UK, even among those whom we might think should know better, estimates show that out of the 1.2m people working in the NHS, 300,000 will be obese. 400,000 are likely to be overweight. This means that over half are at least overweight. It has been said that over 60 per cent of adults in England are overweight or obese. They have an increased risk of type 2 diabetes, cancer, heart and liver disease. Some obesity problems start with the very young, so better education about food needs to take place in schools.
