The Shimano Calcutta 400b is a Classic

I have always stuck to classic designs when it came to fishing reels. I still believe that pleasure is derived from old fishing traditions. I wouldn’t go back so much to just sticks and strings but certainly appreciate classic designs that work. The Shimano Calcutta 400B offers just that – classic beauty in an efficient design. For right-handed anglers, the thumb bar is conveniently placed on the rear while the clicker is on the bottom left. This makes it easy to shut off intentionally yet not accidentally. It’s little details like this that make the Shimano Calcutta 400b clearly a cut above the rest. I have been using it on distance surfcasting and flylining live bait and it has proven to be extremely versatile! I just love the Shimano Calcutta 400b.
