Aptera claims that 2e will accelerate from zero to ninety seven km/hr in less than ten seconds, and be capable of reaching a top speed of over one thirty seven km/hr.       A later variant will be the Aptera 2h which is, a plug-in hybrid electric vehicle. The Aptera’s atypical shape is a result of rigorous optimization in a virtual wind tunnel.       It uses recessed windshield wipers and low rolling resistance tires as well to give it a complete freedom over the unexpected climatic conditions. The design of the structure and body is similar to the human-powered ‘Pegasus’ and ‘Fusion’ vehicles and the MIT Aztec.
